CITY OFFICES OPEN; WASTE COLLECTION SCHEDULE AND DEBRIS REMOVAL GUIDELINES; FEMA DISASTER RELIEF

City Hall, City Hall Annex and other City offices have resumed normal operations. Residential waste collection will take place one day per week, on Thursday and Friday, until further notice. Please CLICK ON THE POSTER attached for FEMA Debris Removal Guidelines -- please ensure that storm related debris is handled according to the attached picture. FEMA has included Putnam County in it's disaster relief declaration. Citizens can apply for FEMA Individual assistance by visiting www.disasterassistance.gov (or click on the link below) to fill out the application – click “Apply Online” or you can also apply over the phone at 1-800-621-3362. You can also go to the Disaster Registration Location at the Putnam County Fairgrounds, 118 Fairgrounds Rd. East Palatka from 8am – 8pm from 9/26/17 until the close of business 10/09/17. Staff from FEMA will be there to answer questions and review cases if you have questions. You should bring your Social Security Number, Insurance Information, Damage Information, Financial Information, Contact Information, and Direct Deposit Information. For citizens needing transportation to the center, you can call Ride Solutions to schedule transportation. The number is 386-325-9999. You can also visit the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at 3111 Agricultural Bldg., St. Augustine, FL 32092. The site in St. Augustine is open 7 days a week from 9a-6p.
