NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND REZONING

 NOTICE is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will hear Ordinances 21-36, 21-37, 21-38, and 21-39 at its meeting on October 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. and Ordinances 21-37 and 21-39 at its meeting on October 28, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd ST., Palatka, FL. 

Ordinance No. 21-36 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM COMMERCIAL (COM) TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (RL) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 3323 ST JOHNS AV, PALATKA, FL 32177 PT OF NE1/4 OF NE1/4 OR198, P315 (EX MCCBK15 P485), CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 21-37 is for rezoning said property:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM INTENSIVE COMMERCIAL (C-2) TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R-1A) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 3323 ST JOHNS AV, PALATKA, FL 32177 PT OF NE1/4 OF NE1/4 OR198, P315 (EX MCCBK15 P485), PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
