NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR ANNEXATION, FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND REZONING

 NOTICE is hereby given the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida, will hear Ordinances 2022-11, 2022-12, 2022-13, 2022-14, 2022-15, and 2022-16 at its regular meetings at 6:00 PM on September 22, 2022 and Ordinances 2022-11, 2022-13, 2022-14 and 2022-16 at 6:00 PM on October 13, 2022 at City Hall, 201 N. 2nd ST., Palatka, FL. 

Ordinance No. 2022-11 is for the annexation of an approximately 0.49-acre property into the City of Palatka as follows: 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS PT OF GOVT LOT 4 OR1054 P1676, (PARCEL F), PARCEL 13-10-26-0000-0260-0061 CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2022-12 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM PUTNAM COUNTY URBAN RESERVE (UR) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RL) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: PT OF GOVT LOT 4 OR1054 P1676, (PARCEL F), PARCEL 13-10-26-0000-0260-0061, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2022-13 is for rezoning said property:   

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE FAMILY (R-1) TO CITY OF PALATKA RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY (R-1A) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: PT OF GOVT LOT 4 OR1054 P1676, (PARCEL F), PARCEL 13-10-26-0000-0260-0061, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2022-14 is for the annexation of an approximately 0.63-acre property into the City of Palatka as follows: 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS 101 HIGHLAWN AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177, HIGHLAWN MB2 P49, BLK D LOTS 1 2 3 10 11 12, PARCEL: 11-10-26-3770-0040-0010, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2022-15 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka:  

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM PUTNAM COUNTY URBAN RESERVE (UR) TO CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL (COM) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: AS 101 HIGHLAWN AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177, HIGHLAWN MB2 P49, BLK D LOTS 1 2 3 10 11 12, PARCEL NO.: 11-10-26-3770-0040-0010, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. 2022-16 is for rezoning said property:   

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE): FROM PUTNAM COUNTY COMMERCIAL, GENERAL, LIGHT (C-2) TO CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL, INTENSIVE (C-2) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: AS 101 HIGHLAWN AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177, HIGHLAWN MB2 P49, BLK D LOTS 1 2 3 10 11 12, PARCEL NO.: 11-10-26-3770-0040-0010, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

All interested persons are hereby advised of such consideration by the City Commission and all interested parties may appear at said meeting at said time and place and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. This notice is given in accordance with FS 171.044 & FS 163.3187(2).
