The city should invest in a new clamshell truck. It seems like every time I call for a pick-up, the truck is down. This would benefit all city residents.

I recently moved to Putnam and am disappointed to learn that we don't have a recycle program & garbage collection is only once a week. Please consider either putting a program in place to recycle or amend the contract with whoever picks up solid waste to force them to collect solid waste twice a week. Keeping garbage for a week is NASTY and a health concern.

Pine Cone Trail is a death trap right now. Has not Rain for several mornings and the pot holes are bigger than ever. I live with an elderly mother, and she has a heart problem. If she was to have a heart attack or any of the children have an emergency, emergency vehicles need to be able to pass through.
Right now not even the mail can be delivered! Please help. Frustrated citizen.

Hello. Nice to meet you. I have noticed garbage in many places in parts of Palatka. People even litter in their own neighborhoods. Just saw a person throw a huge cup outside their car window without even a second thought. Is there anything being done to try to fix this problem (if it can be)? Also, I know there are houses in the historic district that can qualify for money to be fixed up in a way, but what about some of these houses that are falling apart in other areas (and probably should be condemned)? Is there nothing that can be offered to help people who are willing and able to fix their homes? Just thinking out loud. Thank you for your time, website.
