City of Palatka and Putnam County Officials Advocate for Community Priorities at Putnam County Day in Tallahassee
Palatka, FL – February 24, 2026 – Elected officials and senior leaders from the City of Palatka and Putnam County visited the Florida Capitol on February 19, 2026, to participate in Putnam County Day, an event focused on advancing regional priorities and building partnerships with the Florida Legislature.
City and county leaders met with legislators and stakeholders to discuss key initiatives and funding priorities supporting economic growth, infrastructure, environmental management, and public safety.
Putnam County Commissioners led discussions on infrastructure improvements, transportation, workforce development, and community resilience. They emphasized the importance of continued state collaboration to support sustainable growth.
City of Palatka officials highlighted downtown revitalization, waterfront and recreational improvements, and initiatives to support local businesses and enhance residents' quality of life.
