Holiday Schedule
Palatka City Hall, Planning, Building & Zoning, Public Works, Cemeteries and other administrative offices will be closed on the following Holiday dates:
• Christmas: Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 25th and Dec. 26th.
• New Year’s Day: Monday, January 1st, 2024
No residential garbage will be collected on these dates. No utility cut-offs will be made during the holiday closures.
Please note the following Holiday Sanitation Pick Up Schedule:
• Week of Dec. 25th (Christmas week) – the regular Monday and Thursday pickup will be made on Wednesday, Dec. 27. The regular Tuesday and Friday pickup will be made on Thursday, Dec. 28. Yard debris pickup will be made on Friday, Dec. 28th. This includes Christmas trees.
• In the week of Jan. 1 (New Year’s Week), the regular Monday pickup will be made on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd. The Tuesday pickup will be made on Wednesday, Jan. 3rd. The Thursday and Friday collections will be normal. There will be no yard debris pick-up on Wednesday this week.
Commercial Customers will not receive service on Christmas or New Year’s Day but will receive regular service throughout the rest of December and January.
City offices will reopen as usual on Wednesday following the Christmas holiday and Tuesday following the New Year’s Holiday at 8:30 a.m.
