Holiday Schedule
Palatka City Hall, Planning, Building & Zoning, Public Works, Cemeteries and other administrative offices will be closed on New Year’s Day: Monday, January 1st, 2024
No residential garbage will be collected on Jan. 1.
• In the week of Jan. 1 (New Year’s Week), the regular Monday pickup will be made on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd.
The Tuesday pickup will be made on Wednesday, Jan. 3rd. The Thursday and Friday collections will be normal. There will be no yard debris pick-up on Wednesday this week.
Recycling: Recycling in the City of Palatka is handled by Waste Pro. For the weeks of Christmas and New Year, Waste Pro recycling collections will be moved forward one day, including Friday collections that will be made on Saturday, Jan. 6.
Commercial Customers will not receive service on New Year’s Day but will receive regular service throughout the rest of January.
City offices will reopen as usual on Tuesday following the New Year’s Holiday at 8:30 a.m.
