CSX Transportation has closed several railroad crossings in Palatka, blocking city streets, which could last 2 to 5 days, although the company will work to limit the closure of crossings to 24 hours or less on roads with no easy detours.
According to a media release from CSX, the project will mean the roads at the crossings on Washington, Madison, Carr, Kirby Streets, Crill Avenue and Lundy and Heidt Roads will be closed for the project.
