Palatka — As part of the continuing program to upgrade the City of Palatka’s aging infrastructure, the City’s Water Department will conduct a planned water outage on Tuesday, October 8, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. This temporary shutdown is necessary to replace a failed 24-inch valve on the City's main water line.
During this time, water service will be interrupted in the following locations:
- The Rosa Ragsdale Apartments
- The Palatka Skeet Club
- Residences on Skeet Club Road
While the scheduled work is expected to last no longer than eight hours, efforts will be made to restore water service as quickly as possible, and the outage may be shorter.
