The City of Palatka is excited to celebrate Florida City Week (October 20–26, 2025) with a community photo contest highlighting the people and places that make Palatka special.
The contest theme, “My Favorite Spot in Palatka,” invites residents to share their favorite location within city limits, from scenic river views to hidden gems and local landmarks.
Residents can submit one photo by emailing publicinformationofficer@palatka-fl.gov beginning Friday, October 10, 2025. Submissions will be accepted until midnight on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Entries should include the participant’s name, contact information, and an optional short caption describing the photo.
Community voting will take place October 17–21, with a public survey available on the City of Palatka’s website and official social media pages.
The winning photo will be announced on Wednesday, October 22 on social media and on the city’s website, with the winner being recognized at the October 23 City Commission Meeting, as part of Florida City Week celebrations. The winning photo will also be featured on the City’s website, social media, and displayed at City Hall.
