NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR ANNEXATION, FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND REZONING
NOTICE is hereby given the City Commission of the City of Palatka, Florida at City Hall 201 N. 2nd St., Palatka, FL 32177, will consider the enactment of the following Ordinances 2023-07, 2023-08 (adoption) and 2023-09 on April 13, 2023 at 6:00 PM and Ordinances 2023-07 (adoption) and 2023-09 (adoption) on April 27, 2023 at 6:00 PM:
Ordinance No. 2023-07 is for the annexation of an approximately 0.92+/- acre property into the City of Palatka as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA ANNEXING INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA CERTAIN ADJACENT TERRITORY IDENTIFIED AS PALATKA CEDAR GROVE MB3 P192 LOTS 34 35 36 37 38 + N1/2 OF LOT 33 (EX OR241 P161 RD) ALSO THAT PT OF CLOSED HAMPTON RD OR626 P185 (EX SR19), PARCEL 02-10-26-6870-0000-0340, 510 W. TOWLES AVENUE, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Ordinance No. 2023-08 is for amendment of the Future Land Use Map of the City of Palatka: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND (LESS THAN 50 ACRES IN SIZE) FROM PUTNAM COUNTY URBAN SERVICES (US) TO CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL (COM) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 510 W. TOWLES AVE., PALATKA, FL 32177, PALATKA CEDAR GROVE MB3 P192 LOTS 34 35 36 37 38 + N1/2 OF LOT 33 (EX OR241 P161 RD) ALSO THAT PT OF CLOSED HAMPTON RD OR626 P185 (EX SR19), PARCEL NO.: 02-10-26-6870-0000-0340, CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALATKA; AND PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Ordinance No. 2023-09 is for rezoning said property: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY COMMERCIAL, GENERAL, LIGHT (C-2) TO CITY OF PALATKA COMMERCIAL, INTENSIVE (C-2) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY: 510 W. TOWLES AVE, PALATKA, FL 32177, PALATKA CEDAR GROVE MB3 P192 LOTS 34 35 36 37 38 + N1/2 OF LOT 33 (EX OR241 P161 RD) ALSO THAT PT OF CLOSED HAMPTON RD OR626 P185 (EX SR19), PARCEL NO.: 02-10-26-6870-0000-0340, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
