[ARCHIVED] Boil Water Notice Still in Effect

boilwater

Area: All Customers on Zeagler Drive from St. Johns Avenue to Wolf Bay Road

Due to a loss of pressure in your area, there is the possibility that the drinking water in your neighborhood has become contaminated with harmful bacteria. You are advised to boil any water to be used for human consumption for at least three minutes before using.

Boiling the water will destroy any harmful microorganisms that may be present in the water. The water may still be safely used for washing and laundering.

We will conduct bacteriological testing on the water in your area to ensure it has not been contaminated.

You will be notified as soon as we receive the testing results indicating that the water is safe to drink.

We apologize for the inconvenience. However, the safety of our consumers is our top priority.

If you have any questions, please contact the City of Palatka Water Plant at (386) 329 0144.
