On Wednesday, September 30, starting at 7 a.m., a contractor for the City of Palatka will begin work on a project to clear and deepen the water retention pond located at the intersection of Stuart Street and Tierra Woods Drive within the Tierra Woods community.

This $40,000 project is designed to improve flood control in the community, particularly after heavy rainfall. Residents should anticipate heavy machinery and dump trucks in the neighborhood over the course of the project, which is projected to take between 5 to 7 days. The contractor will work to minimize any disruptions to residents.

For further details or inquiries, please call City Hall at (386) 329-0100.
