The City of Palatka will be hosting the annual 4th of July Independence Day celebration on the City’s riverfront and St. Johns River Center. The event promises a fun-filled evening for the entire family, featuring kids' games, a foam party, face painting, live entertainment, and more. The festivities will culminate with a traditional fireworks display at dusk.

Admission: Free to the public
People are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating, as well as umbrellas in case of rain. Please note that tents, alcohol, and amplified music are not permitted at the event.
Eddie Cutwright, Director of the Community Affairs Department, expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s celebration, reflecting on the success of last year’s event.
“Last year’s celebration was wonderful, and I am looking forward to another great event this year. It’s a celebration for the city and community, offering a fantastic opportunity to come together, enjoy the festivities, and connect with local businesses and merchants,” Cutwright said.
