The following City of Palatka offices and departments will be closed on December 24, December 25, 2024, and January 1, 2025, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays:

- Palatka Gas Authority
- Other Administrative Offices of the City of Palatka
Customers wishing to pay utility bills during these closures may do so online at www.palatkagasauthority.com or by phone at 1-866-869-8599 (please have your Pay ID number available).

- For water or public works emergencies, please call 386-329-0107.
- For gas emergencies, call 386-328-1591.
- For police and fire emergencies, dial 9-1-1 immediately.
Sanitation Department Schedule Adjustments:
Week of December 23–27, 2024:
- Household Collection:
- Monday & Thursday customers will be collected on Monday & Friday.
- Tuesday & Friday customers will be collected on Thursday & Saturday.
- Yard Trash Collection: No residential yard debris will be collected this week.
- Commercial Dumpsters: Commercial customers will be serviced on their regular schedule.
Week of January 1–5, 2024:
- Household Collection:
- Monday & Thursday customers will be regular collections.
- Tuesday & Friday customers will be regular collections.
- Yard Trash Collection: No yard trash pickup on Wednesday.
- Commercial Dumpsters: No change in commercial dumpster collection.
