About Professor Thomas Hawkins
Professor Thomas Hawkins directs the Environmental and Community Development Clinic at UF’s Levin College of Law, where he trains students in environmental, land use, and transactional law. A Florida Bar member and certified planner, he has also taught in UF’s Urban and Regional Planning Department and previously led lobbying and litigation for 1000 Friends of Florida, the state’s leading planning advocacy group.
He holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and both a B.A. in Economics and an M.S. in Real Estate from the University of Florida.
